Acupuncture Combined With Chinese Traditional Medicine Treat Type Glove Two Virtual Wakefulness, Clinical Observation

Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combining withNing-shen Decoction in treating insomnia of Cardiac-splenic asthenia.Material and method:To randomly divide60selected patients into threegroups: the group of acupuncture combining with decoction in contrast with thegroup of decoction of medicinal ingredients and the group of patent medicine.The principle of treatment is replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, andnourishing the blood and tranquilization. The group of acupuncture combiningwith decoction is positioning on Baihui Point (DU20), Shenting (GV24), Taiyang(Extra2), Anmian I&II (Extra8&9), Shenmen (H7), Neiguan (P6), Xinshu (BL15), Pishu (BL20), and Zusanli (ST36)(One course of treatment is10days,two courses); serving Ning-shen decoction that distill and concentrate withliquid, one dose orally three times per day (One course of treatment is10days,two courses). The group of decoction of medicinal ingredients is given oralNing-shen decoction that served same as the group of acupuncture combining withdecoction. The group of patent medicine is served ginseng spleen invigoratingpills (oral twice a day, every time a packet), and sedative and heart invigoratingpills (a period of treatment are20days). To observe the changes of traditionalChinese medical syndrome and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) integrationsof three groups, and to determine the clinical effects.Results: The rates of recovery of three groups are shown as following: the groupof acupuncture combining with decoction is90%; the group of decoction ofmedicinal ingredients is75%; the group of patent medicine is60%. After therank sum test, there were statistical differences among three groups. The groupof acupuncture combining with decoction is α<0.05, and it illustrates that thecurative effect of this group is better than the other two groups. There areno obvious differences between the group of decoction of medicinal ingredients and the group of patent medicine. Thus, it means that curative effects of thesetwo groups are similar. After the treatment, the result of the analysis of PSQIamong three groups displays that the sleep quality of the group of acupuncturecombining with Ning-shen Decoction was improved better than the group ofdecoction of medicinal ingredients, even the group of patent medicine; the groupof decoction of medicinal ingredients is superior to the group of patentmedicine.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of acupuncture combining with Ning-shenDecoction in treating insomnia of Cardiac-splenic asthenia is obviously superiorto pure herb water and patent medicine, and the clinical effect of decoctionof medicinal ingredients is better than patent medicine. The treatment ofinsomnia of Cardiac-splenic asthenia by acupuncture combining with decoctionevidently amends the Chinese medicine clinical symptoms, and improves the sleepquality, which method is worthy of clinic application.
