| Objective:to observe that whether in the right brain’s language functional areas can be activated through the acupuncture points.Methods:40healthy people were selected, men and women each half; then randomly divided into experimental group and the control group,20cases in each group. In experimental group, electroacupuncture HT5will be carried out.While in control group, electroacupuncture HT5opening sham acupoint will be carried out. Using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to collect image information in the process of experiment,and Using SPM8software into the statistical analysis. The experimental group and control group were respectively detected by single sample t-test. Inspection standard level is that p=0.05(No correction).The activation volume threshold set to15voxel, and it is believed that brain regions which the continuous activation voxels were over above numerical were thought meaningful activation. And then two groups were detected by two sample t-test, Inspection standard level is that p=0.01.the activation volume threshold set to10voxel,Record activation intensity of the active region,Using t-test statistic value of "T", the T value is greater, the higher strength.Area which will be activated will superpose in MNI brain standard3d template), Display mode including the sagittal plane, cross section, coronal shear layer shows。 Regions of the brain, to observe that statistically significant voxel location and MNI coordinates. Results:Pictures show the main activated area included bilateral occipital lobe, bilateral supplementary motor area, bilateral cerebellum6area. Experimental group mainly activated brain regions included the left post-central gyrus, on the left side of the cover, the left supramarginal gyrus left superior temporal gyrus,right margin gyrus,gyri temporalis superior,Right middle frontal gyrus,The right inferior frontal gyrus pars opercularis, triangular part. The control group activated the main brain areas included cerebellar vermis, left postcentral gyrus, right superior temporal gyrus, left supramarginal gyrus.The experimental group and the control group were tested by two sample t test. Results are shown:in the activated brain areas of the experimental group was higher than the control group’s included the right superior frontal gyrus, right inferior frontal operculum,right inferior frontal gyrus pars triangularis). the control group activated brain areas was higher than experimental group’s included the right side of the cerebellum, right middle occipital gyrus, the right lingual gyrus, left occipital gyrus.Conclusion:Compared with the control group, electroacupuncture at right HT5significantly activated the left superior temporal gyrus, right superior temporal gyrus, right inferior frontal operculum, right inferior frontal gyrus pars triangularis language related areas. |
