Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumor Type 1

This paper includes literature review and clinical research.The topic of literature review is "the diagnosis and treatment of gastric neuroendocrine tumor". This part introduces the in epidemiology, class ificat ion, condition monitoring, follow-up,and the newest advance of diagnosis and treatment of gastric neuroendocrine tumour.The topic of clinical research is "the traditional Chinese medecine treatment of type1gastric neuroendocrine tumour". The western medicine treatment at present is mainly endoscopic resection. This kind of tumors tend to be multiple, so it’s difficult to complete resect and postoperative recurrences occur of ten. Therefore,regular follow-up of gastroscope and repeated endoscopic treatment is necessary, which causes psychological pressure to the patients and decreases quality of life. In the research, we collected16cases of type1gastric neuroendocrine tumour since November2011,by traditional Chinese medicine treatment and follow-up every3months, in order to oberserve the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine to improve clinial symptoms and prevent tumor recurrence.Result shows that12cases were treated with traditional Chinese medicine in these16cases. Of the12cases, there was one case complete response in the number of tumors,5cases partial response,5cases no change, and follow-up of gastroscope was unavailable for one case.1case of long course and relapsed requently, through the treantment of t radi t ional Chinese medicine and Oct reot ide LAR, gas troscopy in fol low up showed tumours stabilised.1case had no treatment and gastroscopy in follow up showed progressive disease.2cases lost fol low-up. In all the12cases by traditional Chinese medicine treatment, symptoms had improved. The research prompted that traditional Chinese medicine treatment of type1gastric neuroendocrine tumour is effective,which improves the quality of life in the patients and controls tumorst.
