Ulcerative Colitis Tcm Syndrome Type And Correlation Study With The Characteristics Of Colon Mirror, Pathology

Research PurposeThe paper conducts research on syndrome differentiation of TCM, and mucosal appearance under the colonoscopy, hyphology for47UC patients by the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine during2009and2012, to provide guidance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment by analysis.Research MethodCollect the clinical data of47patients diagnosed with ulcerative enteritis during2009and2012(the47patients all have colonoscopy and hyphlogy examination). The clinical diagnosis, standards of classifications, and extent of disease are all in accordance with the Suggestions on Inflammatory Enteropathy Diagnosis and Treatment formulated by the inflammatory bowel disease study group of Digestive Disease Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. Analyze and conduct research on syndrome differentiation of TCM, mucosal appearance under the colonoscopy, hyphology, and so on; and analyze data by SPSS17.0Software.Research Result(1) In terms of syndrome differentiation of TCM, the percentages of syndrome types, in descending order, are dampness-heat of large intestine pattern, liver-depression and spleen-deficiency pattern, intermingled cold and heat pattern, deficiency-weakness of spleen-qi pattern, spleen-kidney yang deficiency pattern, and toxic heat flourishing pattern. During the research, the main type at the active stage is dampness-heat of large intestine pattern, account for27.66%, while intermingled cold and heat pattern is main at the remission stage, account for4.26%, with an obvious difference.(2)The extent of disease could range from rectum, extensive colon, to left hemicolon, with the rectum as the main symptom.(3)for mucosal appearance under the colonoscopy, dampness-heat of large intestine patternalways has mucosal congestion and edema, ulcer, erosion, and so on. mucosa granular degeneration,bridge mucosa and so on are always appear at liver-depression and spleen-deficiency pattern, spleen-kidney yang deficiency pattern.(4)The grades of the intestinal mucosa under the enteroscopy and their pathological grades for remission stage UC patients, dampness-heat of large intestine pattern are III grade for Truelove-Richards pathological grade,Ⅰ、Ⅱ grades are more in liver-depression and spleen-deficiency pattern.Research ConclusionThe intestinal mucosa under the enteroscopy and characteristics of pathology could be used as the extension of inspection for clinical diagnosis. They are of help for UC patients diagnosis, could identify diagnosis, improve the clinical diagnosis efficiency, and also provide a strong objective index for the TCM treatment based on syndrome differentiation.
