Language and culture are inseparable, as the basic unit of language; vocabulary is mostclosely to culture. The vocabulary semantic that implicate national culture, is called culturalsemantic vocabulary. On the relationship of language and culture, Benjamin Lee Whorfpresented the "linguistic relativity”. The core idea of this theory is People of different languages,have different thinking, Different way of thinking will produce different language, at the sametime; a language affects the language the user’s thinking. In the Cultural semantic vocabulary, thereaction of a nation thinking, psychological and cognitive word hidden cultural semantic word.Hidden cultural semantic word used in the sentence, There is no obvious cultural markers andStrong oral color. It is Difference with the semantics of the word of the dominant culture thereare obvious cultural markers. As the cultural semantics of such words with the obscuritycharacteristics and vocabulary of cultural semantics is formed by means of metaphor, symbol, etc.So these words are embodied in a national way of thinking and cognitive psychology is a uniquecultural content, an invisible, potential presence to the Native speakers. As for the Chinese nationand way of thinking of the learners, is undoubtedly a great deal of obstacles and challenges.Learners in the face of the sentence containing the semantics of the word of the hidden cultural,it is easy to ignore the vocabulary of cultural semantics without realizing it. It will lead to thedeviation on the semantic understanding. However, past study did not do a detailed study andanalysis for this particular language problem, in language teaching, there is no such wordeffective teaching strategies. So the article regards the "Modern Chinese Dictionary", whichreflects the current literature of the basic outlook of the modern Chinese vocabulary as a closedobject, Retrieval, sorting, classification. The purpose is to do a systematic collation of hiddencultural semantic word. This is exactly the innovation of this paper. In this paper, through theretrieval to the Hidden cultural semantics, analyze the characteristics of such word itself, explainthe semantics of the hidden cultural problems in the Chinese vocabulary, and recognize the statusof such words in the Chinese vocabulary. At the same time, based on these findings, from thecharacteristics of Latent Semantic vocabulary and the distribution of the hidden cultural semanticword in Chinese Language Learning, Combined with teaching experience, Summed up theeffective teaching strategies for the hidden culture of semantic word. The aim is to help Chineselearners to learn hidden cultural vocabulary better.
