The classification is the people of important cognitive activities. Classification activities have an important impact on concept formation, reasoning, decision making, problem solving and other cognitive activities. Example theory is based on the concept of similarity-based classification model, is the most widely used and has the most explanatory power, and has been continuously enriched and developed. The present study has focused on factors affecting the category learning, such as the features of weight, the basic rate, availability heuristics and rational decision-making. Inverse the base-rate effect is a good study sample study paradigm, reasons for the formation of IBRE have the main explanation, such as base rate information, featural selective attention.highlighting and block, and people have had a great deal of knowledge in this area. The experiment was concluded on the basis of previous studies, by Using IBRE research paradigm, by manipulating base rate information, learning and testing conditions; using base rate information, learning and testing conditions explore the category of people to form. When the rate ranged from one to three, the testing condition ranged from no-praise to praise and the trials of learning ranged from ten to fifteen. This change would influence the form of the classification. The present study includes the three experiments. All of them are using IBRE paradigm Through the within-subjects design, every experiment has two conditions to explore the formation of the people’s classificationThe main results are elaborated as follows:(1) The perfectly perfect predictive symptoms of two categories also appear in a new instance, people tend to diagnose this combination of symptoms as being the rare category.(2) The perfectly perfect predictive symptoms of two categories and the imperfect diagnostic symptom simultaneously appear in a new instance, people tend to diagnose this combination of symptoms as being the rare category.(3) under the conditions of the test scores to reward, inverse the base-rate effect disappears.(4) over-learning conditions, inverse the base-rate effect disappears and appear the base-rate effect.
