Listening learning in foreign students’ Chinese learning plays a very important role.Improvement of listening ability can help students to learn and use Chinese.Metacognition and metacognitive strategies can effectively plan, monitor and evaluatelanguage learning processes. It plays a good role in guiding and coordinating learningprocesses. So this paper will link metacognition and metacognitive strategies tostudents’ Chinese learning process.
