| With the rising of gratitude, it has already been an important quality in the field of positive psychology, and its research must be based on scientific measurement tools. After studying a largesnumber of gratitude papers at home and abroad, with relatively mature gratitude scales abroad available though, referring directly to the foreign scales does not necessarily fit our national characteristics, due to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. In addition, while some domestic scholars designed their own gratitude questionnaires or revised foreign scales with applicability study, the achievement is still relatively few.On the basis of gratitude theories, this study using Likert scale designing techniques designed a gratitude questionnaire for junior high school students, which is used in a survey of the status of gratitude among junior high school students in Tianjin, and further analyzed the relationship between gratitude and life satisfaction of junior high school students. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The level of junior high school students’gratitude is high;(2) A single dimension gratitude scale for junior high school students is designed, with a total of18questions scored by Likert5-point. The results of the survey indicated that the questionnaire to be reliable and valid enough to measure junior high school students’ life satisfaction;(3) Among junior high school students, the girl’s gratitude is significantly higher than the boy’s;(4) For the gratitude level of junior high school students, there are no significant differences between the three grades;(5) For the gratitude level of junior high school students, the key school students’ gratitude is significantly higher than the ordinary school students’;(6) Gratitude is significantly positively related to the total average score of Adolescent Student’s life satisfaction Scale including its six factors (friendship〠familvã€studvã€freedomã€schoolã€environment). |
