Water is a kind of matter.It is our human life support and continue theprocess is the most important one of the substances. Since ancient times,the water is also a kind of of human civilization an important carrier oftraditional culture. The water culture in the history of human development,has the extremely vital significance. In the history of Western painting indifferent countries at different times, the artists in their art works, thewater techniques have greatly different, each express the meaning.Both the Southern Song Dynasty painter Ma Yuan classic" twelvewater" in the line graph as the carrier of the spirit of presentation; and theBritish artist David Hockney’s" big splash" in a material world pop artcultural style show. The different shows in the western painting of thevarious elements of the essential difference.Water is the same,but there is two different views as "enjoy "and"watch "form painting way of reading as the different cultural backgroundand historical development between Chinese painting and Westernpainting.
