Under The Gender Perspective Of Image Narrative Space

If space is a means of narrative, then sex is the space of narrative selected perspective. Gender and space to participate in and guide the film narrative, this article will study the films of directed by Li Yu. I will start with the two of the women living space and psychological space, and explore the relationship among gender, space and film narrative. Attempted to use the film spread the influence of the correct orientation for the construction of the female image and female identity.In this paper consists of four parts, the first chapter analyzes the cause of the research questions, the meanings and the objectives. I believe that to construct the unique space of the female self-empowerment, it is necessary to expand the relevant theoretical research perspective, and introduce the space theory to the range of Gender relations, mining the deep expression of the film narrative analysis of the female space. The second chapter explains the concept of space, gender and narrative in the film, and the correlation between the three. To clarify the relationships in three of them, it helpful to understand how to analyze the narrative strategies of the text by gender properties of the film space. In the chapter Ⅲ talked about the films of Li, starting from the three types space of the kitchen, bathroom and the guest bedroom,analysised of family spatial relationship in the film, obtained the desire of the right to speak and the anxiety of the modern female identity. In the Chapter Ⅳ, using "image" as the theoretical support, emphasized the importance of self-expression for women’s mental space. In the conclusion part, thinking about how to reflect the reality and the inner world of women’s in the film narrative.Thus further promoting the development of the Chinese female film industry.
