Mental Health is to protect the individual good growth and the smooth development of the important factors and the premise. This article selects cognitive flexibility and social adaptation of the two variables to study the mental health of high school students. Of cognitive flexibility, social adaptation and psychological health in-depth analysis of cognitive flexibility, social adaptability affect the role and influence of size on the students’ mental health, and on this basis on how to improve cognitive flexibility and enhanced social adjustment to make reasonable suggestions, and to improve the mental health of high school students.Cognitive flexibility to adapt to changing situations and converted to another thought or behavior, to meet the needs of the new situation. That is, to the ability to respond appropriately in situations when faced with change, it can make our reaction suited to the needs of the current situation, so that the individual optimal response to a specific task context. For high school students in terms of social adaptation is an important goal of socialization, but also to measure an important indicator of the individual development. Young people are a special group, there are many self-development problems to be solved. The environment which is closed to the high school students is family, school and other environments which plays an important role of three different children, students, peer friends. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cognitive flexibility of high school students, social adaptation, as well as mental health, and on this basis put forward reasonable suggestions on how to improve the mental health of young people.Wisconsin card sorting test (WCST), the students social adjustment scale and the Mental Health Questionnaire (MMHI-60) were selected for the evaluation analysis, and330middle school students (boys169, girls161) are also included, the following are conclusions:(1)With the grade of high school students, cognitive flexibility, high grade individual cognitive flexibility performed better than individuals of lower grades; high school students of different gender, cognitive flexibility is not significantly different;(2) high school students of different grades of society to adapt to differences significant with the higher grades, individual frustration tolerance performance of the lower trend; high school students of different gender, social adaptation there are also significant differences in the social adaptation of the girls obviously excellent boys, especially in learning to adapt to family adaptation to the environment and internal relationships to adapt to these three areas;(3) The mental health of the majority of high school students in the health and sub-health state is good and has a mild psychological problems, only a few students of psychology is to moderate psychological problems. High school students of different gender, level of mental health differences in the mental health of the girls better than boys; high school students of different grades of mental health there is no difference;(4) High school students of cognitive flexibility and social adaptation of correlation between the persistent number of errors and school relationships there is a significant negative correlation;(5) Cognitive flexibility and mental health of high school students were significantly correlated. Which the correct response to the number of depression, academic pressure, adapt to the adverse and psychological imbalance there is a positive correlation; non-persistent errors and anxiety, to adapt to the adverse significant negative correlation;(6) High school students a significant correlation between social adjustment and mental health. Between the various dimensions of social adaptation and the various dimensions of mental health showed different degrees and in different directions;(7) High school students cognitive flexibility, social adaptation and mental health, there is a significant correlation between the overall cognitive flexibility and social adaptation of the predictive role of mental health.
