In the performing art, either in traditional opera or in movie, all the characters areperformed by people. Wherever there are people, there will be expression and action, which couldbe called body language. As one of the important way to create character, body language playsa significant role in performance. This article uses tens of thousands of words, on the basisof many materials, to expatiate the development of body language from Chinese traditional operato early drama, from western opera to modern drama, from early movie to modern movie. The firsttwo chapters of this article are focused on exploring the adaption and specific importance ofbody language in performance.The third chapter is a difficult point of this article, illustratingthe rational analyses and control capability of actors to the body language. The forth chapteris focused on illustrating the specific charm of body language when actors create character duringthe performance, by the analyzing of movie. |
