It is not just scholars to think of the problem about the film space research, film makers need to think about. For a long time, scholars to the movie space study focused only on the film ontology,and movie space is equivalent to the simple background environment, with technological advances, the film space is gradually deepened. Film makers, experts and scholars begin to pay attention to the spiritual expression of space as well as social expression. In this context, from the perspective of space and community this paper starts to research spatial metaphors in Jiang Wen film. From the perspective of sociology to study film space and the relationship between space and society, scholars is rarely discussed topic. Some filmmakers from the practice angle on film space was a pioneering attempt. In their film, space is not a simple descriptive environment, but with more social connotation.In China, Jiang Wen movie is wonderful. With its unique style, exquisite pictures, depth of expression, it stands in Chinese film industry. Whether it is"In The Heat Of The Sun","Devils On The Doorstep","The Sun Also Rises", or"Let Bullet Fly", Jiang Wen film has always been to go the route of the "fine", or with the box office success, or to win honor.The studies about the Jiang Wen film are increasing, research focus are the language of the camera and personality. In addition, Jiang Wen movie in the space set also has representative. In addition to the background as the story takes place, the space movie also gives a deep meaning.From the view of concrete space, space metaphor in Jiang Wen movie mainly reflects in two aspects:exclusive space and shared space. Exclusive space is the spatial component. The madness in Jiang Wen movie is the exclusive space of the main body.They trapped in a space, contempt powers.Instead, the film little people, abide by the rules of society, versed in things, eventually suffering from oppression and even loss of life. Shared space in the movie--the square、indoor space、moving space-also show the social power relations in space. The film Carnival of the square, on the surface of everyone involved everyone happy, public place seems to be truly equal.In fact, these public places always room duality/superficial/relativity."Public" is only temporary. Social relations has not changed, and class strife is even more obvious. Equality, freedom, happiness is relative in these places. So, from the concrete spatial analysis, spatial relations in that film is a reflection of social relations. Secondly,the space has a more important role in the performance of the social relations between people. From the small aspects,space distances reflect the changes of the affinities between the object. From the major aspects, the social space is the social hierarchy of the stent. In order to break the class oppression, the bottom people tend to occupy the space of the upper class to display the change of class status,in order to achieve social equality. These videos are embodied.In short, the film space all the time does not penetrate the shadow of the society. Spatial relationship in the film is social relations.Therefore, the writing ideas are as follows. The first chapter is the introduction, mainly for the research background, research significance, research status, research method,and the main problem to solve. The second chapter is mainly an overview of Jiang Wen film and film space.lt first clarifies what is Jiang Wen movie, followed by combing the process of understanding of the film space, while interpretation of the metaphor of space:Space is the characterization of the social. The third chapter analyzes specific space in the Jiang Wen film. The main analysis of two aspects: exclusive space and shared space. Through the two representational space, we can find that contains social meaning. The fourth chapter researches the social space of the Jiang Wen film, further illustrates the spatial metaphors embedded in the film,it is that the film space is the reflection of the community. Finally, according to the study of Jiang Wen film in the space, the author believes:in the movie, space is the characterization of the social and space is filled with the social relation.
