Numerals To Study Embedded Format

"Numerals embedding structure" indicates a kind of phrasal structure in Chinese in which two fixed numerals are separated by two flexible characters, such as"一...二..."、"七.八..."、"三...四..."、"千...万...". This structure is highly productive and practical in modern Chinese because its simple structure can express different meanings. According to its formal features, this structure divides into two types, namely "Numeral1... Numeral2..." and "...Numeral1...Numeral2". This article mainly includes:Chapter I:"Definition and Extraction of Numerals Embedding Structure". This chapter focuses on defining the object of this paper and the scope of the study. On the basis of the definition of "embedding structure" by Mr. Zhou Jian, the author gave the definition of "numerals embedding structure" and three criteria for identification:a fixed frame structure, a fixed format significance, and the conditioned slot nature. Based on these three standards, we eventually established23numerals embedding structure through the corpus collection and processing.Chapter II:"The composition of numeral Embedding Structure ". The chapter is this article main body part. This chapter focuses on analyzing the two parts of the structure-the fixed part and the embedded part. The fixed part was investigated from four aspects of in-depth analysis:the format classification, format meaning, the syntactic position and grammaticalization.The semantic types is the emphasis on content. The embedded part was researched from three aspects of in-depth analysis:the main embedded ingredients, semantic relations, word order. And embedded nouns, verbs, adjectives were studied by quantitative analysis.Chapter III:"Four-character phrases in the embedding form". Guided by the three-dimension grammatical theory, this chapter discussed syntactic function, semantic features and pragmatic characteristics of four-character phrases. In addition, we tentatively discussed four-phrases generation mechanism from the symmetrical mechanism, economic mechanism and analogy mechanism, in order to deepen understanding such four-character phrases.
