The first three chapters of the thesis investigate the development path of the litchi literature since the Han Dynasty to Song Dynasty. Litchi enters the world of literature in the Han Dynasty, the litchi image appeared in the Western Han Dynasty Sima Xiang-ru "Shanglin Fu"firstly, and the the litchi theme literature Eastern Han Dynasty Wang Yi,"litchi Fu".From the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, litchi Literature has been in the dismal state.Compared to the litchi literature’s bleak state, the litchi’s historical content before the Tang dynasty is more abundante, such as the multiple presentation of litchi plant characteristics, multiple identities of thevlitchi, multiple function of the litchi, the diversification of litchi’s image and value judgments. These resources become the potential object of the litchi literature later. Song Dynasty can be said of the boom years of the litchi literature, including250litchi theme works. The litchi Literary throughout this period, from content to form, we conclude three main features:Song is litchi Jane fruit, fruit cents image formation period;though coming behind,Fujian of litchi literature is the center; and lychee poetry writing form eath other as the main form of litchi theme and the form also affect the formation of the litchi aesthetic image.Chapter4of this article is an individual research. The literary creation relating to lychee (lizhi) written by4poets in the Tang Dynasty are selected as the analytic target. The first one is that of Zhang Jiuling. As a sign of region, lychee were always intriguing the "buyu" complex and the "ganyu" complex of the literati and officialdom, which means unappreciated by the bureau and having ideas of his sufferings separately. As for the poet Zhang Jiuling who lived during the early and middle period of Tang Dynasty, lychee represented a feeling regret and disconsolation because of the fact that it was always eaten by ordinary people. Lychee has been symbolized as Zhang’s own experiences and indicated Zhang’s "ganyu" complex. In this point, lychee belongs to a poet who at first was humble but then became a prime minister. The second one is that of Du Fu and Du Mu, both of whom made great efforts to the subject which connects lychee and Lady Yang together and initiates subsequently enormous literary creations and that’s why I put the two poets together. The poets considered the lychee as a reminder of pretty women with beautiful, black eyebrows and imperial concubines and despised it. In the feelings of the poets, there was an reflection to the politics with a combination of admiration and regret to the prime of Tang Dynasty. In this point, lychee belongs to the gloomy poets. The third one is that of Bai Jiuyi. As for Bai, there was less regional complex and political feelings relating to lychee. Instead, Bai paid more attention to the lychee’s aesthetic features including color and scent and made more exploration and explanation to them. Lychee became a kind of ornament to the leisure life of Bai. In this point, lychee belongs to a middle-class officer who at the time was a liberal poet.
