The existential construction is a form of a grammar structure showing where or when, who or what exists or appear or vanish. The existential construction is different from general Chinese so to study the existential construction you need to understand3steps. The3steps are descriptive grammar, the meaning of a word, and the use of a word. For these reasons a lot of people studying Chinese gets confused. There are some reasons why people have a hard time with the existential construction.First the existential construction is a different type of style in the Chinese language. Even a Korean person that hasn’t learned Chinese before can see the difference between a general paragraph and an existential construction paragraph.Second the existential construction’s descriptive grammar, the meaning or a word, and the use of a word is different to the Korean language. Even the students that is studying Chinese gets affected by the existential construction and also gets affected by there mother language. So they have a hard time using the existential construction, even when they use it they mostly get it wrong. Cause of these reasons Korean students doesn’t like to use the existential construction.Third the Chinese teachers think that the existential construction is not difficult to learn and teach. But in reality it’s easy for the teachers to teach, but hard for the students to learn, and even harder to use.This essay reflects on how you see it in the3ways:descriptive grammar, the meaning of a word, and the use of a word. When looking at it in theses3ways you can tell the difference between the Korean existential construction and the Chinese existential construction. This essay is going to help out the Korean student that’s studying Chinese also its going to help them understand the existential construction more.
