Ink Painting Draft And Creation

The development of art requires artists to free themselves from the boundaries of different art categories and bring their active and dynamic role to its full play in art creation through an innovation in art thinking. Art colleges have recognized and integrated this requirement into their teaching system and students are gradually breaking the constrains imposed by established concepts on art categories, exploring art language reconstruction with multivariate art languages.Based on the Author’s works of and the practice and thinking training involved in ink painting draft and oil painting, this thesis will present the Author’s view on the modern reconstruction of Chinese and Western paintings. It focuses on discussions of three dimensions:first, the necessity of thinking training in the modern reconstruction of Chinese and Western painting languages; second, ink painting draft and oil painting and their relationship under a reconstruction thinking; and third, the significance of ink painting draft on the Author’s art thinking training and practice. Based on the Author’s thinking training in art practice and with an analysis of the Author’s works, this thesis seeks to present the Author’s gains in the modern reconstruction of Chinese and Western paintings and provide a reference for artists who are engaged in the modern reconstruction of Chinese and Western art.
