Since the "Cynical Realism"art made its debut in the early90century, Theacademic circles has been mixed, unable to agree on which is right. Based on the"Cynical Realism" art research, trying to put the language background, characteristics,the art phenomenon of contemporary value out more clearly, provide thinkingvaluable for the development of contemporary Chinese art.This paper is divided into five main parts: the first part, analysis of the "CynicalRealism" art language background. Mainly to launch the Discussionsfrom Heidegger’s phenomenology, the comparison between Fang Lijun and Kiefer’swork, the non-mainstream culture and mainstream culture etc.The fifth part, on the"Cynical Realism" criticism of art. The main tool to art theory, language theory,analysis of the "Cynical Realism" limitation of art.The author thinks, The "cynical Realism" art still could not get rid of art tools onthe shadow, is still in the language theory framework, it does not touch the artlanguage itself, it is not the innovation of artistic language or "breakthrough".
