National traditions graph is the external representation of a national culture, isentrusted with the hope and yearning of all ethnic groups, contains the concept ofcreation and aesthetic psychology of the various ethnic groups, Historical Evolutionof the records of all ethnic groups, each nation’s own cultural identity, distinct culturalsymbols of all ethnic groups, but also our interpretation of the visual text of a nation,of an era. In terms of design, graphic shape in the form of various ethnic traditions,practices its unique manifestation of their inheritance is the traditional culturalheritage of the family.Hani traditional graphic wide range of topics, in various forms, different colors,covering Hani Historical Development of the ecological environment, totem worship,religious beliefs, and many others, the use of traditional graphics in modern designshould not be simple misappropriation of national graphic elements, but for acrystallization of the Hani people’s emotions and sense of thinking unique art system.Content of this study is based on interpretation of the of Hani traditional graphics asan entry point, the historical origins of Hani traditional graphics, constitute a form ofdepth of a law, aesthetic elements, and start from the meaning and symbolism, graphcontains multiple semantics deep reading, thinking and then in the modern context toexplore the Hani traditional heritage and graphics applications, the the Hanitraditional graphics use in today’s design, combined with design examples do furtherpractical exploration attempt.
