A Comparative Study Environmental Tort Relief

Since the beginning of the20th century, while bringing great convenience tohuman life, the rapid progress of science and technology has also brought on moreand more environmental pollution cases, which threatened people’s health andsurvival, such as British Chemical Pollution Events, Blood-lead Poisoning Cases inChina’s Gansu Province. Some environmental pollution cases can be regulated underterritory jurisdiction, while some cases related to two or more countries. So we shouldtake measures to resolve such environmental pollution.In this article, environmental tort is divided into two types on the basis ofterritory jurisdiction, in order to comparatively analyze the status of the environmentalcitizen litigation in different countries.
