The Combination Of The Communist Party Of The Post-cold War World Exploration Research

As an effective form in the history of international communist movement, thecommunist international alliance played an important role in promoting mutualunderstandings, exchanging views and ideas and conducting common actions. Thepaper examined the International Meeting of Communist and Workers’Parties(IMCWP), the major platform through which communist alliance took place inthe post-cold war era, made an analysis on the stance, mechanism and pros and consof the IMCWP. Also, the paper shed light on the role and attitude of Communist Partyof China towards the conference and proposed a couple of suggestions. To conclude,this paper discovered that the IMCWP aimed to end the rule of capitalism and theAmerican imperialism, that the meeting could be divided into several phasesaccording to its popularity, and that the CPC played an active yet prudent role in it, inline with the Party’s foreign policy as well as the international situation. In addition, itis expected that even more similar alliance, in different forms, would come into being.Yet, without giving more say to regional Parties besides KKE, it is possible that theIMCWP develop into the new“Third International” in the21stcentury. Mostimportantly, more expectations would be placed upon the CPC in days to come.
