It has been talked a lot on the relationship between the state and society. It is significant to have an in-depth and detail study of it.In this thesis, the "Nest" is taken as the analysis object, the establishment background and operation situation of the "Nest" are investigated. On this basis, the characteristics of corporatism behind the activity that Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs bought the "Nest" service is analyzed by taking the corporatism as a tool, furthermore, the transition of corporatism brought by is clarified.Based on the corporatism theory, and through the investigations on the "Nest’s" establishment, staffing assignment, financial source, and business supervision unit and so on, the "Nest" is deemed to be capable of the characteristics of state corporatism in this thesis. The difference is the hint that transition from state corporatism to social corporatism is being revealed in this case, which is related with the selection of individual case subject, the governmental support on social organization and strong grass-root of social organization itself facilitate this transition to become possible. However, further analysis and research are needed to be conducted to confirm that if the route and possibility of this transition are generally suitable.
