Since the1980s, some major financial superpower, like Britain, the United States and Japan, constantly improve their financial legislation, traditional financial system has been thoroughly changed and a new finance theory-" financial services act "comes.This theory has changed the division of the financial relationship in traditional theory of finance and emphasizes the service of financial industry. It has made the financial consumers a main body in the financial relationship where their rights and interests can get more powerful protection. Therefore, it is more in line with the development trend of the society.After the Financial Crisis, most of the countries in the world have paid attention to the financial derivatives, and taken active measures to make up for the damage on the domestic economy caused by Financial Crisis, the most obvious expression is the upper of the target of financial consumer rights and interests. In this background, this paper starts from the basic theory of financial consumer and derivatives, and then specifically elaborates the subject of the protection for financial consumers’right to know in financial derivatives trading and the legislation abroad and in other parts of the world. Through discussing, we propose some specific suggestions. In particular, including the foundation of supervision system which pay equal attention to institutional supervision and functional supervision, the regulation of the obligation of explanation of financial service providers, the perfection of the program relief system of financial consumer’s right to know and the foundation of financial consumer rights and interests security funds system.
