To ensured security of energy supply in the United States, and as one of the priority objectives ofdiversified import channels for his ruling when president George W. Bush took the White House office. Wecan see from the report that the "National Energy Policy" submitted by the National Energy PolicyResearch Group in May2001, Central Asia-Caspian Sea region are key objectives of the United Statesselected to achieve the purpose of control of the major producing areas of the world’s oil and gas resources.Shortly after, the "9·11" incident created a good opportunity that the United States strongly got into CentralAsia, and vigorously involved in the oil and gas sector of the region.For the realization of the developmentof Central Asia Energy Strategy goals, the Bush administration from the military, political and economicmulti-pronged approach to select the appropriate means of implementation of the strategy. Due to thespecial geographical location of Central Asia coupled with the rich in energy resources, the world and thesurrounding powers have joined the race of the region. So in Central Asia,the United States to implementits energy strategy must be related to national impact.This paper analyzed that George W. Bush administration’s energy strategy in Central Asia, from astrategic perspective, the formulation of its strategic background, strategic objectives determine, the choiceof strategic measures and the impact of the relevant countries:The first part is the introduction, proposed the theme of the paper: the Bush Administration’s energystrategy in Central Asia. Description of the purpose and significance of the research; and comprehensiveintroduction to Research in the field at home and abroad; and definited the relevant concepts; furtherelaborated the research methods and innovations.The second part introduces the background of the Bush Administration’s energy strategy in CentralAsia. From both international and domestic factors were analyzed: The world’s emerging economies, therapid increase in demand for energy, as well as the beginning of the administration of George W. Bush inthe face of the domestic energy crisis, These factors have formed tremendous pressure on the protection ofU.S. energy security, and achievement the goal of diversification of import channels.The third section analyzes the two major goals of the Bush Administration to determine the energy strategy in Central Asia: the protection of security of energy supply and energy geopolitical considerations.Central Asia-Caspian Sea region oil and gas reserves and the development of late and have a great exportpotential, could become one of the reserve base of oil and gas resources of the United States in the21stcentury; In addition, the United States had to consider the reality of the region’s energy geopolitics, due tothe special geographical location and the competition of the energy pipelines in Central Asia.The fourth section describes the choice of implementation modalities of the Bush Administration’senergy strategy in Central Asia. The "9·11" incident provided a good opportunity to the United States,which heavily involved in the field of Central Asian energy: in the name of the war on terror, U.S. troopsin Central Asia, from the military to protect the realization of the U.S. energy interests in the region. As aresult, the United States to gradually strengthen the efforts of military presence, democracy promotion andeconomic and trade ties, but the implementation of three measures each has its own success or failure.The fifth section describes the impact of the Bush Administration’s energy strategy in Central Asia. Inthe paper, selected for the impact on the United States, Central Asian countries, and neighboring powers,Russia and China. These effects in general have seem as the size of the positive and negative points to thecountries.The sixth section is the conclusion, assessment and summary of the Bush Administration’s energystrategy in Central Asia.
