The United States is a nation of immigrants, its history is essentially a history of immigrants. America’s immigration policies are along with the arrival of immigrants and begin to continuously develop and change. Studying the immigration problem for us to understand the history of the United States has an important role, from the middle of the nineteenth century, with Asian constantly ingoing, Asian immigrants began to have an important impact on the development of the United States society, Asian immigrants occupy an important position in the whole immigration community in US. The United States immigration policy towards Asian is an important part of the US immigration policies, Its evolution is closely related with the development and changes of the elements such as politics,economy,culture and diplomacy etc in the American society.In general, the United States immigration policies towards Asian experienced the "Free"Period(1850s-1882),the "Restrictive" Period(1882-1943),the "Limited loose" Period(1943-1965),the "Revised" Period(from1965later). In this paper, the Limited loose period(1943-1965) as the research object, analyzes, summarizes the three major immigration laws in this period.There are four main parts of the paper. The first part mainly does a brief history review to the United States immigration policy towards Asian(from the middle of the nineteenth century to1943). The second part analyzes the repeal of the Chinese Exclusion in1943on the introduction of the background, process and its major content, finally analyzes, summarizes the the influence of law to Chinese and Asian immigrants. The third part analyzes the Immigration Act of1952by the introduction of the background, process and its major content, finally analyzes, summarizes the the influence of law to Asian immigrants. The fourth part does a special research on the Immigration Act of1965.(Four American Presidents and other key figures play the role for the bill’pass). The conclusion part summarizes the characteristics of the US immigration policy towards Asian in this period, come to a conclusion:No matter how to change of the US immigration policy towards Asian, Its final purpose serves the national interests of the US.
