ZhuXi. a leading representative of Chinese ancient Confucianism following Congfucius and Mencius, is also a crucial politician, philosopher and jurist at Southern Song Dynasty or even the whole history of China. With profound ideological system, he made special important contributions to the improvement of Chinese feudalism legitimism law thoughts. Then, this Article focuses on the research of ZhuXi’s legal philosophy and seeks to dig out some new insights based on previous researches.This Article could be divided into three parts. The foreword, as the first part, is fundamental, which specifies the background and development of the legal philosophy of Zhu Xi, introducing him as well as the influence of the environment and his personal experience on his legal philosophy.The second part, from chapter 1 to chapter 5, describes the key points of Zhu Xi’s legal philosophy, that is. "Cherish Heaven Law, Deny Human Desires’" the guideline of Propriety learn, "Governing with Morals and Governing with Penalty", the judicial thinking centered on "Strict Has The Wide" and thoughts of administrative law and economic law. In line with the categories of law, the second part introduces his legal philosophy one by one. Among others, following the development of Chinese social security system. "Civil Storehouse System" in the Chapter of Economic Legal System, illustrates Zhu Xi’s legal philosophy pertaining to social insurance law in details, which expresses the author’s unique views that are slightly different from those of other scholars examining Zhu Xi’s legal philosophy.The third part and also the last part of this Article, demonstrates a conclusive and comprehensive evaluation and review after systematical study of Zhu Xi’s legal philosophy. With a development vision and placing them under different eras, the author strives to achieve an objective and comprehensive assessment of Zhu Xi and his legal philosophy.
