Research On E-government Construction Of Henan Administration For Industry&Commerce

With the advent of the information age, the traditional government management mode which adapt tothe industrial economy, appeared to be inadequate in the face of the information economy and virtualeconomy. E-government meets the new needs of social development with its features of electronic, network,and virtualization. In order to conform to the trend of information technology and meet the growing publicneeds, governments around the world are actively promoting the construction of e-government. In China, inorder to meet the needs of economic and social development, the government learn the new publicmanagement and new public service theory from abroad. On this basis, the central government clearly putforward the concept of "service-oriented government", and to improve the government services andmanagement level by using the e-government construction, to promote the construction of service-orientedgovernment. As market regulatory department, the Administration for Industry&Commerce, to betterfulfill the functions of the Administration for Industry and Commerce under the new situation, the use ofinformation technology to create a "service-oriented government".In this paper, first,we analyze the current situation of e-government construction in China, In recentyears, China’s e-government construction has made great achievements, but there is still a gap with therequirements of service-oriented government construction, we have a long way to go. Second, learn fromthe foreign e-government development experience. By introducing the concept of citizen-centric,service-oriented in the e-government construction, we build new e-government development model.E-government focus on internal management, improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative costsshifted to focus on improving services to enhance the user’s experience up. Last, by analyzing thee-government construction of Henan Administration for Industry&Commerce, we want to demonstratethe direction for the further development of e-government construction of Henan Administration forIndustry&Commerce. As a revelation, we suggest some strategies in order to tackle the problems ofe-government and enable the Government to better serve the public and social.
