Computer Software Copyright Protection Mode

With the rapid development of science and technology, the computerhas penetrated into all spheres of life of people. Computer applicationshave already gone beyond the initial areas of scientific computing,extended to non-numerical calculation of the control, management, dataprocessing and other areas of work. The legal protection of computersoftware has become the world issues of mutual interest. Countries usingcomputer software protected mode: France Protection of authorship(copyrights), patent law protection, unfair competition law to protect andspecially legislative protection. In these models, the protection ofcopyright law countries generally preclude the use of protected mode.Numerous and the subject matter of copyright protection ofcomputer software, this article discusses the following four aspects: thefirst part an overview of computer software and its legal protection,including computer software concepts, legal characteristics andclassification. The second part is mainly to study the existing legalprotection of computer software mode. Analyze their strengths andshortcomings. The third part is the practice of international copyrightprotection on computer software. Computer software copyrightlegislation, first introduced the current situation of China’s computersoftware copyright protection, from the lack of copyright protection ofcomputer software to analyze and further improve the recommendationsof the copyright protection of computer software.
