Democratic Political Horizon, The Study Of Contemporary Chinese Regime Stability

Social stability is the cornerstone of development. Our country is in a transformation period,maintaining social stability has an important meaning for social harmony, economicdevelopment, and national unity and it is the best interests of contemporary China.90thanniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, it’s general secretary Hu Jintao put forward underthe new situation of living conditions, national conditions, the party situation is undergoingprofound changes, the party’s leadership, corruption and ability to withstand risks, strengtheningthe Party’s governance capability and vanguard nature to face many new situations and newproblems. Therefore, the democratic political concept of contemporary Chinese regime stabilityproblem has a very vital significance. In this paper, I use the methods of literature study,combining theory with practice.The first part structures the theoretical framework of the stable regime of socialist democraticpolitics and contemporary Chinese regime. The paper believes that, absolute power will causeabsolute corruption; autocratic dictatorship will inevitably lead to political news interest.Democracy is the optimal choice for people’s interest, it can arouse people’s political initiativeand enthusiasm; It is effectively error correction tools, can effectively prevent abuse of powerand administrative corruption, unit and pool the people’s power. Democracy is the socialcontradictions buffers, helps to maintain stable regime.The second part analysis useful experience.In China the people reach the basic consensus,establish the basic form of democratic politics. But in practice there still exist some problems,such as the system of people’s congresses remains to be perfect, the democracy within the partyneeds to be further developed, the implementation of rural grassroots democracy needsdeveloped, the corruption seriously affect ruling authority, the participation of citizens ininstitutionalized channel smooth enough, and democratic political culture needs to built.Socialist democratic politics construction must be made to maintain the stability of power: toperfect the electoral system, and steadily promote the development of socialist democraticpolitics; To develop the democracy within the party, lead to social democratic progress; Thedevelopment of rural grassroots democracy, the promotion of China’s democratization process;Improve and perfect the supervision system, and actively expand its channels, and expandcitizens’ political participation.
