Drunk Driving Into The Research Problem

In the Amendment VIII to the Criminal Law of the People’s Republicof China, drunk driving has been made a new type of crime. One of its aimsis to crack down on such a dangerous action and warn the drunk driver. Inthe meantime, it shows the respects of other people’s lives with the spirit oflaw. However, there are problems about the regulation, whose feasibility ischallenged. Therefore, based on the reviewing of the background ofdrunk-driving and sorting out many theories the paper is to explore thenecessity of discussing the existing problems and the improvement with anattempt to provide workable proposals for legal practice and to make theregulation more applicable. It is also hoped to establish objectiveimplementation criteria of much scientificity and impartiality to reducesubjective judgments in legal practice and to make related provisions ofthis issue in civil law, administrative law and criminal law hierarchical, orderly and integrated.
