The Weakening Of China Local Governments Credibility And Its Governance

With the development and advancement of the society, government credibilityearned more and more attention from the public. During the social transformation, thegovernment faced a lot of complicated problems. Under the influences ofgovernment’s administrative action, public’s cognitive attitude towards thegovernment and the emergence of many social problems, government credibility hasbeen weakened. Raise the level of government credibility and guide the public torecognize our government correctly is the focus of the local government. Only in thisway the social order, harmonious and stable development can be subsisting.This essay is made up of five parts. It is beginning with the expounding ofconnotation, source, character and importance of government credibility. Focus onanalysis the reason of the weakening of our government credibility and how toimprove this situation.The first chapter: Introduction. These reasons summarized as three respects：the government itself,the public and other factors. The deviation of the government’s administrativephilosophy and administrative behavior, administrative corruption become moreserious, the administrative capacity needs to be increase and the decline of public trustare the focus to this chapter.The fourth chapter: In this part, the article proposed the basic idea of how toimprove the credibility of the local government: constructing service-orientedgovernment, strengthen the building of the civil service, improve government publicrelations, crisis management and lead the public to make a correct cognition of thegovernment.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this thesis.
