On The Ruled By Law On Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility

In recent years, Some terrifying incidents such as tony red, melamine, poisonous milk, lean meat powder are making the public especially consumers on tenterhooks, because of a variety of serious irresponsible behavior by some companies, some dangers are hiding beside us, and it can turn to a disaster which may threaten our health, even our lives, lots of the food safety incidents caused by some irresponsible company are continually exposed. On the other hand, after the earthquake in Wenchuan, some compassion enterprises contribute to the disaster area actively, however, some local leading enterprise such as Wanke Group which donated2,000,000were questioned by the public opinion. Wang Shi, the CEO of Wanke group, had professed that it is not appropriate to donated too much money, and he also asked his staff not to donated more than10yuan. Such remarks were criticized as soon as it was published, and it also led to the decline of the company’s share and reputation. While, because of these, we can’t help thinking about such issues:What’s the rationality of the companies which take profit as a goal? How will the relation be between the companies and other interested parties? Will the company take responsibility to the interested parties? Whether the company will take the relative responsibility to the society? How? What the range of it? Will the social welfare belong to social responsibility?. Thinking about the these series of problems, the aim is to achieve the company and social harmony.In this thesis, the writer will analyse social responsibility from the aspects on historical origin, the development, legislative intention and so on, to discuss the base of existence theoretically. Then come to the conclusion that it is necessary and reasonable for our country’s companies to join in the corporate social responsibility. Meanwhile the thesis will also make a deep analysis on the problems during the adaption of the corporate social responsibility, and take how the current legislation situation of protection and improvement of the implementation of corporate social responsibility as the research focus of this paper.
