Our Country Rural Grassroots Autonomy And Democracy At The Grassroots Level Politics Construction Research

At present, China’s rural grass-roots mainly work for expanding the grass-roots democracyby the "four democracies". After reform and opening up, rural grassroots democracy hasobtained great development, but still a long way to effectively resolve the variouscontradictions in rural areas. At the same time, the villagers’ autonomy also faces somedeep-seated problems in the real practice. In this paper, facing new problems andcontradictions, on the base of the Marxist stand, viewpoint and method, focusing on the courseof development of rural grass-roots autonomy since reform and opening up, sorting out theproblems and constraints of China’s rural grassroots, and pave the way for the villagegrass-roots democracy construction in future. Adhere to the correct leadership of theCommunist Party of China, and give full play to the rural grassroots party organizations, andimprove the villagers’ autonomous mechanism. Establish a sound rural four democraticoperational mechanisms and procedures. Increase efforts to implement relevant laws andregulations of rural areas. Through various channels, forms, to achieve “two open”, to protectfarmers’ right to information, decision-making, management and oversight powers. Speed upthe rural political and social process, and nurture civil society in rural areas. In order to ensurethe farmers’ share of economic and social development outcomes, protect the basic rights andinterests of farmers, promote the construction of rural society, increase financial support foragriculture at all levels and strive to resolve livelihood issues of farmers. Deepen the study ofvillagers’ autonomy and speed up the rural grass-roots democracy contribute to thedemocratic political development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, speeding up theconstruction of a new socialist countryside, promoting the process of building a moderatelyprosperous society and the maintenance of social harmony and stability in rural areas. It hasimportant theoretical and practical significance.
