China's Economic Research Ways Farmers' Political Participation In Less Developed Areas

The political participation has always been the common concern among the politicians and sociologists; it is not only the important phenomenon of the modern political life and the major index to measure the political modernization, but the essential content of the democratic establishment. As for our China, which is the leading Agricultural nation in the world, the political participation of the peasants is the reflection of integrity of the political participation. Throughout the research on political participation of the peasants hold by many scholars in recent years, which focus mostly on the more developed rural areas, while for that of the economically underdeveloped areas, they are, to some extent, ignored. Therefore, it is of realistic significance to do the research on the political participation of peasants in economically underdeveloped areas. What’s more, we can gain a better understanding of the entire situation of the political participation in the vast Chinese rural areas, thus helping to promote the overall level of political participation.This thesis contains five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, which aims to explain the background and the significance of the topic, meanwhile, to expounds the developments at home and abroad on the basis of reading extensively and to present the possibility of the research and innovation on this topic. The second part is a basic summary of the theory of the political participation. The purpose is to gain the knowledge of the political participation on a whole. Then there comes the third part, it is about the present situation of the political participation in economically underdeveloped areas. By the description of the present situation of the political participation in economically underdeveloped areas, we are aiming to find out the major reason for the problem of the political participation in economically underdeveloped areas. The fourth chapter describes many factors affecting the political participation of the peasant in the economically underdeveloped areas, by the analysis on the subjects of the political participation, social reality and cultural psychology, it aims to pave the way for the next chapter, which is on how to optimize the theory of political participation of the peasants in economically underdeveloped areas. Last but not the least, there follows the fifth part, which is the terminal point of this thesis. It’s of great significance to improve the political participation of peasants in the economically underdeveloped areas, by analyzing the relevant factors and putting forward the thoughts to improve the possibility of the political participation.
