As one form of legal implementation, courtroom trials are the most important legal activities. The judges use the courtroom discourse to conduct the courtroom discourse. The appropriate speech act guarantee a just trial and procedural justice. So the female judges’courtroom discourse is very important. Nowadays, female judges play a significant role in the judgment. In light of this background, it is of realistic significance to investigate the status quo of the female judges’working and the trial practice, analyze the characteristics of their courtroom discourse. There was little valuable academic research. This article attempts to seek a breakthrough on this.The first part and the second part discuss the specification of legal language and courtroom discourse, systematically examine the academic history of the study, then present the status quo of the study on the female judges, and point out that systematic survey on the group of female judges, though greatly concerned by the society and public opinions, is insufficient in theoretical circle. In the third part, the author analyses the transcripts of courtroom trials, chooses typical case and contrasts different judges to make the research all-around and dialectic. Base on the second part, the fourth part and the fifth part conclude the characteristics of the female judges’courtroom discourse and the advantage in the judgment. The female judges are more emotional and friendly. They prefer to use the specification language to defend the procedural justice. The female judges are fit for the cases about domestic troubles. They can use their language advantage to settle the troubles. Therefore, the female judges should make full use of favorable condition and promote complementarily to contribute to build the harmonious society.
