In Perspective Of Urban-rural Integration Of The Household Registration System Research

The planned economy period, the rural household registration managementsystem formulated by the state have played on the population classified managementand restrictions on population movement, and to protect the role of China’s rapideconomic development and social stability. However, with the progress of the times,the household registration system and social development does not fit in the humanfamily separation, household discrimination serious highlights, to promote theharmonious development of society, the imperative to reform the householdregistration system. Chengdu, as a rural comprehensive reform pilot area in thisregard was actively trying to explore aspects of the broader reform involves largereffort. Strive to completely get rid of the status differences of urban and ruralresidents. The same time promote the living of a unified management, basic publicservices, equality of social welfare and social security. Chengdu, the pilot survey,using documents and interviews, and summarize the achievements of the reformmeasures and at this stage of the household registration system in Chengdu and theemergence of the inadequacies. Part IV discusses the Chengduhousehold registration system reform experiments, including Chengdu, the householdregistration system reform of the reform measures to reform the status quo. Part Vdiscusses the thinking of the existing reform: whether to achieve freedom ofmovement can? Reform there are still a problem? Really respect the wishes of farmersand households to land behind the problem. The last part on further deepening of thereform proposals of the household registration system: reform of the electoral system,personal injury compensation system reform, reform of the educational system, socialsecurity reform, the rural collective reform of property rights, labor and employmentsystem reform, family planning system reform, housing security system reform.
