Patriarchy is the mainstay of the regime of China feudal rule, which is deeplyingrained in the Chinese mind and does not disappear with the end of feudal times.Since our reform and opening to the world, our country had achieved great economicprogress. At the same time, the political reform lags lot. Feudal patriarchy remainedon the political system is the important factor which affect the political reform. If youwant to find the way to solve the problem, you must find out the ideological essenceand the skeleton of the formation and development. Patriarchy was formed XiaDynasty, and was strengthened since Qin Dynasty. Thousands of years feudalautocratically rule made Chinese admit the fact of being governed and being control.The matching system strengthened the absolute power of patriarchal. Until the late19thcentury, modern thinkers criticize the feudal patriarchy. The enlightenment wasformed. However, the enlightenment thinkers could not free them from the prison cellof patriarchy materialize the political transition. On the contrary, semi-colonial andsemi-feudal society character was not transformed. The sense of patriarchy stillstayed in the mind of leaders. Even in the early period of Communist Party reigning,leaders of the country and the party still had patriarchy concepts. From the realisticangle, it was not possible to obviate the external factor--Stalin model. Becauseestablishment new China need the soviet assistance, it was inevitable to imitate thepatriarchal of Stalin model which contained the highly-centralized politics、personality cult and ideological control etc. Because of the composites influence ofinternal and external and the reform strategy of economic prior development and fromeasy to difficult, patriarchy style of work increasingly serious.Nowadays the social problems show the patriarchy is a burning realistic problem.Solving the patriarchy problem should commence from system construction andthought construction both sides. We should concentrate on authority grantingirrationality、the responsibilities of the Party and those of the government and to stopsubstituting the former for the latter in the power structure、inadequate supervision etc. From thought construction angle, Marxism theory as the guiding is inevitable. Wemust define the Chinese is the master of the country, and the interests of the peoplecome before everything else.
