The Theory Of Liu Shaoqi, Historical Contribution To The Sinicization Of Marxism

Liu Shaoqi has done a lot of the explorations in the process of sinicization ofMarxism, and his contribution to Marxism in China is unique and important. Heproposed a series of original ideas, although the breadth and depth needs furtherdeepening and sublimation, these ideas were major breakthrough and built roads inthe Chinese revolution and became part of Mao Zedong Thought and the historysource of Deng Xiaoping Theory. This paper is exploring his contributions toChinese Marxism in his revolutionary career, different historical periods being aclue.The paper is divided into five parts. The introduction describes the significanceof the topic, the whole train of thought, situation of study in China and foreigncountries, the drafting process of this thesis and the idea of taking the researchmethods.The first chapter focuses on him combining the theory of Marxism with theChinese labor movement practice, and contributions to the theory and practice topromote the development of China’s labor movement.It Specifically including LiuShaoqi’s view and theory on the labor movement, Liu Shaoqi’s theory about fightingstrategies by workers, and trade union work theory of Liu Shaoqi.The second chapter focused on Marxist theory of the proletarian party and theChinese revolution and construction practice of Liu Shaoqi contributions toenriching and developing the Marxist theory of proletarian party-building. This partincludes the elaboration of the creation of Communist cultivation theory. Liu Shaoqiexplored the contradictions and inner struggles within the party on the relatedtheoretical issues, and he proposed a number of important policies to strengthen theruling party and so on.The third chapter relates his contributions to the outline of Mao ZedongThought and him actively promoting the earliest theories of Marxism in China’shistorical process. It includes that Liu Shaoqi differed the "Marxism" from”Marxism in China," in the meaning and relationship, he related a more complete andscientific interpretation of the meaning and system of Mao Zedong Thought, and hecontributed to establishing the guidance of Mao Zedong Thought in the party.Finally, the paper discusses in detail the contribution by Liu Shaoqi incombining Marxist economic theory with the Chinese economic practice, exploring some theoretical and practical weighty topic in new democracy construction andsocialist economic construction. It includes his explorations of stabling democraticeconomic order, a preliminary exploration of socialist industrialization andexplorations of practical problems and so on.
