Nowadays the death penalty in worldwide applies to crimes severely affected human life and safety, military crimes, or crimes endangering national security, etc. However, as to economic crimes, many countries generally has no specific punishment of death penalty, some even has no punishment of life imprisonment. Criminal Law (1979) has no punishment of death penalty. Existing in the current criminal law (1997)16economic crime charges the death penalty.After the publish of "The Amendment to Criminal Law Ⅷ",there is7economic crime charges the death penalty yet. The punishment of the economy crime is much heavier in our country than Germany, Japan, the Great Britain or American. And they pay more attention to the use of the punishment of property and qualification. For economic crimes shall be put to death, it lacks of legitimacy, do not conform to the international development trend of the death penalty and the basic spirit of International conventions on human rights.However, and our economic crime configuration death time is not long, on the national economic crime emotional and crime rates are limited if abolish the death penalty. So we proposed to abolish counterfeit money, collect money the crime of fraud of the sin, smuggled counterfeit currency the SINS of the death penalty and in the production and distribution of counterfeit drugs are to sin, production, sales and poisonous, harmful food sin, smuggling weapons, ammunition sin, smuggling nuclear materials the SINS of the death penalty.
