This article makes a brief introduction to the case of ‘the murder case of LiuShuanxia’, who suffered domestic violence for a long time, and analyzes "batteredwomen syndrome" and justifiable defense that have some collection with the case,then concluded that the behavior and mentality of Liu Shuanxia corresponded with thefeature of “batter women syndrome”, and killing Zhang Junshui was justifiabledefense under the influence of “batter women syndrome”. The article divides into fiveparts, the first part is brief introduction of the case, this section made a briefintroduction of the murder case of Liu Shuanxia;the second part is the dispute focuses,this part labored the dispute focuses, and raised five questions that were implied withthe dispute focuses, which included the background and features of “batter womensyndrome” and its use in west countries; her behavior of intentional killing wasaccording with the meaning of justifiable defense or not? The abuse to Liu shuanxiafrom Zhang Junshui was the unlawful infringement that regulated by justifiabledefense or not? The behavior of intentional killing of Liu shuanxia corresponded withthe condition of condition of time of justifiable defense or not?"battered womensyndrome" would influence the defense intention or not?The killing behavior of LiuShuanxia was corresponded with the condition of limit of justifiable defense or not?The third part is the analysis of principle of criminal law, this section labored theprinciples of criminal law that being related to the case; The forth part is theconclusion of the case, this section labored the whole case and made a conclusion;The fifth part is the other discussion, this section extended to discuss the crime andpenalty.
