’Annals by Lu Buwei’is a large comprehensive volume of thoughts of the pre-qin period, which was written from the aspects of aristocracy to arithmocracy, and the time of the system of enfeoffment period to Feudal imperial system period in the late of the Warring States Period, contributing a great value on our study of the political thoughts of ancient Chinese period. But the version was out of favor for various reasons, and its researches had always been a depression since it was formed. After the reform and opening up, the value of the book was gradually realized by people and the researches of it were developing rapidly.I think the version is of great importance to the political thoughts of ancient Chinese period because it possesses a integrated system of political theory. Through the version, I make my reposition and interpretation over it, exploring the very important political thoughts in it and hoping to do my little bit to help the political thoughts of ancient Chinese period. The introduction to this paper analyzes from the aspects of the reason that I select the topic and the status quo of the researches. In addition, the paper is divided into four parts.Part one:Bases on the analysis of the version’s historical background and the theoretical basis, I put the practical demonstration up, for the formation of its political thoughts.Part two:I introduce the version’s philosophical basis of its political thoughts that differed from other various political ideas. The version itself supported the metaphysical philosophy theories from its own political thoughts aspect.Part three:This part is the core part of the paper. I detailedly combing out and analyze the version through the political thoughts, especially from four aspects, which are:the rule of virtue and law, the morality of King and courtier, people-oriented ideology and Righteousness soldier thought.
