The Research, Evaluation And Thinking Of "Washington Consensus"

The goal of Washington Consensus proposed by John Williamson is to deal withthe economic crisis of Latin America, Argentina is acclaimed the model of economicreform. Based on the contents, it made a plan of economic reform for Russia that isthe shock therapy. As the important influences of Washington Consensus to EasternEurope and Latin America’s politics and ecnomics, very famous scholoars proposedtheir own opinions. With the increasingly breaking of economic crisis in the countrieswhich used the policy of Washington Consensus, the critical voices is increasinggreatly. Therefore, it is very necessary to make the further study on the influenceabout the Washington Consensus. The author considers that it is not appropriate toresearch the ecnomics of one country just with aspect of ecnomic itself. It shouldstudy the whole of politcs, culture and even Military information. The main reason isthat they are just the integrated whole. If we do not adopt this approach, we willobatin the incorrect conclusions just with the fractional aspect information. In thiscase, the author will combine the politcs, culture and even Military information tostudy the influence of Washington Consensus.In this paper, the introduction of background and thinking resources will bepresented in section1. The influences of Washington Consensus to Argentina andRussia are analysised in section2respectively. In section3, the chanllenging ecnomictheories constructed by Washington Consensus will be discussed. Finally, the noveldevelopment theory and politcs to developing countries will be proposed.Furthermore, the reasonable forecasts to the global development will be presented onthe basis of the above analysis.
