Crimes against property are one of the main crimes combated in many countries, which become the key types of crimes scholars from various countries focus on. However, criminal law scholars at home and abroad did not reach an agreement until today on what is the legal interests crimes against property really protect. And this controversy not only exist in the theoretical world of criminal law, but also in the judicial practice. About this issue, the debate becomes severe among civil law system countriessuch as Germany, Japan, etc. Of course, criminal law scholars in our country also share different opinions about this issue, however, they didnot reach an ultimately conclusion. The author started from the analysis oftypical case in the judicial practice, on the basis of proceeding defects and deficiencies of crimes against property protection law, and commentingthe related theories about crimes against property protection of legal interests at home and abroad, proposed a new perspective of different condition of possessory property, and discussed the legal interests ofcrimes against property protection to better guide the application ofcrimes against property.
