Under the conditions of market economy and an open society, no matter how stringentlaws are adopted against prostitution and whoring, no matter how much human, material andfinancial resources are spent to carry out anti-vice raids, prostitution is a social phenomenonthat cannot be completely eradicated and multiple related crime has also become a commoncrime, which damage the normal order of social administration and good social atmosphere.For some of these cases, in the theoretical circle and judicial practice, people havegradually formed a unified understanding, but for procuring others into prostitution, heateddebate still exists among academic and judicial practices.The provisions of current criminal law and judicial interpretation on this issue are notclear enough.Through studying The Qualitative Studies of Jin’s Introducing Others to Go Whoring,thisarticle will discuss that whether introducing whoring can be hold as a crime, and how toconviction and sentencing.This article consists of five parts. Part I describes the case of Jin’s introducing others togo whoring.In part II and part III I dispute the focus and main differences of views on this case. Thebasic question in this case is: whether Jin’s introducing others to go whoring should becommitted as a crime, and how to sentence. In part Ⅳ, according to the analysis of the case, I maintain that Jin’s acts should beconsidered as the crime of procuring others into prostitution.Part Ⅴ is the case revelation. In this part, recommendation of conviction and sentencingare offered about the crime of procuring others into prostitution from three aspects that thelegislative, judicial, law enforcement.
