Shen Shikui, the last general of the military town Dong Jiang in Ming Dynasty of China, who died with it in the gunfire of Qing in1637, is often mentioned by some historic materials as a bosom of the change of dynasties. Besides that, few words are given about this historical character. Shen Shikui, actually, is much more important than what he is recorded by history. He is the typical one among the generals of Dong Jiang after Mao Wenlong. Shen Shikui experienced almost the whole of Dong Jiang, from its raise to its fall. Generals such as Mao Wenlong、Liu Xingzuo&Xingzhi、Huang Long、Shang Kexi are influenced differently by him. Shen Shikui turns out to be the final winner of the combat for power in Dong Jiang. We can see more about the border defense of Ming Dynasty and Dong Jiang via research of Shen ShiKui.On the other hand, especially after he get the power of Dong Jiang, Shen Shikui got a lot of interactions with Korea, offering a chance to know more about the relation of China and Koran at this time. What’s more, great historic events like the fall of Dong Jiang, Qing’s conquer of Korea also happens during Shen’s time, making the research of Shen Shikui more necessary.Opposite to his importance, Shen Shikui is the least famous one among generals in Dong Jiang. The most study existed are focus on Shang Kexi, Liu Xingzuo&Xingzhi, only such a few have interest of others like Huang Long、Cheng Long. Nothing specially for Shen Shikui. The present paper will focus on Shen Shikui, and discuss the relation between China and Korea at this time via this research. This is maybe a supplement of the existed study, trying to make this period of history clearer. The paper has2parts. In the first part, questions about Shen Shikui himself will be answered, including his class origin, his official experience, his connections. The second part will be the discussion of the interaction between Shen and Korea, divided into several periods for comparison and study in detail, from which to study the relation between China and Korea at this time.
