The forms of advertisement are now experiencing tremendous changes. The world has witnessed the variety forms of products placement and branded placement and we are all familiar with the term product placement. The traditional advertisements is getting the end of its era with the increasingly widespread use of product placement in movies, TV shows and other entertainment products by the means of recovering screen, props and dialogues. We may be convinced to accept some brands of products in the middle of watching an entertainment program without any precaution.However, the proliferation of product placement have thrown the legal regulation into the shade; therefore, in order to put forward reasonable advice on the legal regulation of products placement and stick up for rights of consumers and viewers, it is imperative to draw on the experience of other countries such as America and Britain. This essay aims to some solutions to the supervision of products placement after comparing the above two countries.This essay begins with the introduction of the history of product placement and briefly introduces the current situation of product placement in China. Then, it will carefully examine two countries, America and Britain respectively to reveal the practice of product placement regulation in the above countries. Chapter4gives feasible and specific proposals on the regulation of product placement in China in the foundation of synthesizing the reality and experience from the two counties. Finally, Chapter will make a conclusion based on the above analysis.
