Good faith as an important code of ethics, is widely respected and admired in China and the west. But under the background of social transformation in our country, the original ideological and moral system is strongly impacted by many factors, along with the phenomenon of moral disorder and good faith missing. These all hindered the development of socialist market economy and the construction of harmonious society. Therefore,<The decision of several major issues about the central committee of the communist party of China to further the reform of cultural system to promote great development of socialist culture prosperity> was passed on the sixth plenary session of the17th, it pointed out that:"we must put the good faith construction on the prominent position, Vigorously promote the construction of government credibility, business integrity, Social credit and the judicial, To establish and improve the coverage of the whole society credit system, Increase the intensity of punishment for breach behavior, Widely formed the atmosphere of trustworthy honorable and dishonest shameful in the whole society." The communist party of China as the ruling party, not only play a part in political leadership, thought leadership and organizational leadership, but also for the task of organization and guide the healthy development of the social political, economic and cultural life, the government as an organ of the state management, is the face in the country and the executor of the organs of state power, they play a leading role in the construction of the harmonious society, so if we strengthen the other aspects of the good faith construction, we must first strengthen the good faith construction of ruling.This paper mainly discusses the theories about the good faith construction of the ruling. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the path of the good faith construction of the ruling, according to the article we should improve the quality of party members and cadres moral integrity, transform the function of the government, strengthen the construction of credit system and improve the supervision mechanism and so on to the good faith construction of the ruling, so as to consolidate the party’s ruling status, improve the party’s ruling ability, with a new image to lead the construction of the harmonious society.
