Baidu Library Events had alarmed once again to the issues of copyright protection under the internet technology circumstances nowadays. Meanwhile, the interests between Information Storage Space Service Provider and the copyright owner have become more and more imbalanced. These specific conflicts particularly reflected in legal, technology and the economy. Along with the application development of various Internet Information Storage Platforms, we can find that foreign and domestic legal measures are unable to properly solve the Baidu Library Events.The "Regulation on the protection of Information Network Transmission Rights" indicated that,"the direct economic interest acquired by Information Storage Space Service Provider is the basis of constitute the infringement elements and responsibility." However, under the so called "Web Traffic Economy" age today, the users’click rate or high attention for instance, are able be turned into the economic interests directly. Therefore, we believe that such a requirement is unreasonable.Therefore, this paper mainly argues that, the indirect economic interest which can be estimated or quantized should be incorporated into Information Storage Space Service Provider’s infringement elements. In terms of Chinese copyright is revising, it is an good opportunity that update the legal system along with the internet technology’s progressing, and make the regulations reflect reasonable. As a result, utilizing internet technology to promote China’s copyright industry development, as well as solve the interest issues between Information Storage Space Service Provider and copyright owner properly.
