A Study On The Actuality And Countermeasure Of University-Industry Collaborative Based On Research University Of Nanjing

Teaching, researching and social work is three functions of colleges and universities. Educationservice for economic development, develop University-Industry Collaboration (UIC) based onuniversities’ characteristic and advantage, it’s the inevitable current of higher education. If a countrywants to follow the artery of world’s economy current and keep itself rivalrous, a effective system isneeded, the system should work on not only technically but also be close to internationalization. In theface of the great competition among countries in economy, technology and industry have to associatewith universities to service for the society. UIC is a certain choice of universities.Nanjing is building innovative city, being convinced of our city’s advantage in higher education,the government advocate that we should develop UIC energetically, to make sure that universities canplay the most important role in the process of innovative city building.This thesis is directed by the theory that “Service is the third function of university”, six researchuniversities of Nanjing are the research object of this thesis. Exterior circumstance, inner system, theform of UIC, content and the mode is analysed in this thesis. Some issues are indicated in university,enterprise, and their collaboration, the reason is also found. To resolve these existent issue, this thesisadvanced five ways to eliminate obstacles and boost the percent of research production transformation,that is broaden the source of capital, reduce the risks, constructing intermediary institutions,ameliorating UIC operation mechanism and empoldering more UIC modes.From these points of view, this thesis is capable of exerting higher education of Nanjing andservice for the social-economic development in theory and practice.
