It has great significance in the history of western philosophy that proposing and having an attention on the understanding of life-world, which can be said that it has converted the thinking perspective of epistemology and methodology characterized by mathematical and objective. Husserl is the pioneer of the philosophical discourse of the life-world to in-depth thinking. In his masterpiece The Crisis of European Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology, Husserl discourse clearly on the life-world, and he firmly regard life-world as evidence area, which can free the shackles of the mathematical and objective natural scientific thinking of people, and can go back to the thing itself to lead to the meaning kingdom. Obviously not just only phenomenologist watching the life-world, some important philosophical schools have a coincidence of the life-world, such as Habermas’s bush, and Wittgenstein’s turn of everyday language.Life-world is not only attracted widespread attention in philosophical circles, and is already a hot topic in the education field. However there are filled with several kinds of views on life-world and education. Someone argue that education should return to the life-world in order to eliminate the separation of the state of education and life, while others have doubt that if so, education would be yes-man of the philosophy. But education can’t allow such a deviation because of its special nature. The development of a country based on education which is to train people to be people. Once the misunderstanding of life-world appears, it will have an adverse effect on front-line teachers, resulting in alienation of education. Obviously, such a result is alarming and frightening. Hence, it elaborates some points in the following aspects:Firstly, we attempt to clarify the understanding of the life-world through the description and analysis of philosophers such as Husserl, Heidegger, Habermas, Wittgenstein to reach for the appropriate grasp, which is direct, situational and the former conceptual.Second, it is embodied the historical clue of the relationship between life and education, which has great significance. Historically education development experienced a complex process:education merge into the process of life---education ignore the meaning of life---education return to the life-world.Finally, after reviewing the educational alienation in the current education practice areas, which embody theoretical understanding bias, and the equation of life and activity or perceptual intuition, we can grasp clearly the appropriate meaning of life-world in the educational practice.On the basis of the above theoretical discussion, we can see that there is substantive content of life and life-world; and we should always be phenomenological attitude to see life; and our education should be former conceptual education.
